Offline Mode on Mobile Explained

Updated by Hewitt Tomlin

Offline Mode puts your app into an offline state so it doesn't try to make updates, upload data or pull data while you train. Basically, if you have poor signal and it's taking a while to respond / save workouts, this mode will prevent your app from "running slow." The app in offline mode will store data locally on the phone and simply upload it when the phone is back in service or wifi

If our app notices that you're completely offline - not just a spotty connection, like you're in airplane mode - then we will automatically save the data locally until you come back online. The Offline Mode toggle in settings just forces that same behavior if you're not completely offline but have a slow connection.
